PID controller is used in kinds of industry circumstance for its simple structure is easy implemention and strong robustness and even accounts for 90% of the weight in the industrial control.And as an abroad control law,during the last 70 to 80 years,PID control has not been knocked out from the emergence of different advanced arithmetics,and on the contray,it plays an major role in the industrial control.The tuned paramerers of PID controller, whether excellent or not , are the precondition of good colsed-loop control effects while it is used to application. So far, kinds of parameters tuning methods of PID controller have emerged in endlessly, which bring much energy for the study of PID controller and all the ultimate objective of all method is always the same: to realize rapid and stable closed-loop control.In actual industrial process, there are many special process with strict request that the controlled variable are not allowed to exceed value,so the PID control without overshoot is important. After reviewed the current major PID controller parameters setting methods, This paper introduces a design of PID controller without overshoot based on the Z-N experience formula.The main research work are as follows:(1)This paper summarizes PID controller characteristics and current development, then introduces the performance index of system response.and the current setting methods of PID controller parameters.(2)Analyzes the Z-N experience formula.The closed-loop system when controled by PID controller with the controller parameters setted by Z-N experience formula,are dived into two kinds according to the closed-loop response:one kind is with closed-loop response no overshoot.another is with closed-loop response having overshoot.For the second kind of system,based on the Z-N experience formula,this paper construct a PID controller parameter setting formula without overshoot and proves the accuracy(3)Time optimal is proved of the proposed setting formula without overshoot of PID controller in the fourth chapter.By adjusting the three controller parameters and simulate,and analysis the closed-loop response with the change of three parameters.The results show that the PID controller parameter setting formula without overshoot can achieve the shortest regulating time with no overshoot premise.(4)Analyzes the applicable range and object and defects of the PID controller,without over shoot. Then compared it with CHR setting method of the close-loop control performance and verifies the resistance to disturbance performance .
