Research And Implementation Of Free Customized Report System Based On Asynchronous Calling

With the rapid development of information technology, the amount of electronic data is increased at an unexpected speed. Meanwhile, the managers of enterprises might make the right decisions due to the reports, which extracted useful information from quantities of data. At the same time, such abundance of data requires effective data report tools to collect and store massive data to large databases. Taking cost and timeliness into consideration, most of the enterprise managers hope to gain reports customized due to their own demands by using ERP (enterprise resources planning) software. However, the flexibility of free customized report could bring difficulties in designing and development.Asynchronous Calling Mechanism is a special mechanism which could transfer data between asynchronous systems or subsystems. Such a mechanism theory could fit the demand for custom reporting system perfectly. A suit of asynchronous calling based solutions for free customized report system is originally proposed based on the meeting point in this paper. It also is used in practice project.On the basis study of representative ERP report modules at home and abroad, a thorough understanding of free customized report and asynchronous calling mechanism is obtained, and a theoretically feasible solution based on asynchronous calling mechanism is summarized. Meanwhile, the solution was successfully applied in the commercial project," Accounting Management System for Beijing Research Institute of China Telecom" to satisfy the request about the report customization of demand side, which can prove the reasonable of this solution.
