Design And Implementation Of Message Storage Subsystem In CPM Service System

As the evolution and convergence of the network, the traditional messaging services have been gradually unable to meet the requirements of future networks and users. The convergence of messaging services has shown a consequent trend. The various existing messaging services (such as SMS, MMS, IM, MEM, PoC) have many overlaped service capabilities; they were all designed and standardized independently. As a result, these isolated messaging services can only provide one kind of user exprience at a time, and confined to limited media types. In order to resolve these questions, Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) defined Converged IP Messaging (CPM) service, which can provide IP-based converged multi-media messaging service experience through a horizontal enabler framework based on SIP/IP core network. Based on a unified framework, CPM service system breaks the isolation barriers among various messaging service systems, so it can provide an integrated messaging service experience.CPM Message storage subsystem is dedicated to provide storage and manipulation of CPM conversation history for users. By processing the conversation history submitted by CPM participating function, the message storage system can maintain the view of CPM conversation, and provides the experience of looking back conversation history with scenario. Meanwhile, the storage system fulfills the requirements of users'customoziation and administration by processing and responding the management operaion.Based on the features of conversation history storage in CPM service system, a storage model and access methods of conversation history storage are proposed by project team. According to the solution of message storage and the design requirements of system, the storage client and server have been implemented. By constructing the message storage model and supporting the access function of model, the storage system provides users the ability of conversation history presentation and storage maniplulation. The validity and rationality of the solution have been proved by testing the prototype system.This thesis firstly overview the CPM service system and then introduces the model scheme which is applied in the message storage subsystem. Based on these, the requirements analysis of system is presented. After that, the top level design scheme is proposed from the perspective of module design, the interative procedure amongmodules and the design of interface, and the detail design and implement of key technologies are described. In the end, by testing and analyzing the result, the rationality and validity of model scheme and the design of message storage system are proved.
