Various services have developed according to the requirements of customers. Future network will be heterogeneous for fitting with this development. Current information models in network management systems are related to the network and different networks have different information models. So how to organize the data in heterogeneous networks becomes a major research point, and many organizations already have some achievements, such as the Shared Information/Data Model of TMF.How to organize information and data in heterogeneous networks in an effective way, and how to use this model to build real network management systems become popular. These issues are also what this paper focuses on.Firstly, this paper discusses the control and management of the heterogeneous network. Then a self-organized management architecture combined with Ambient framework is designed. Secondly, it provides a service and application oriented system information integrated data model based on the achievements of ITU, TMF, DMTF, TINA-C, and the requirements of new generation information model. What's more, it describes a customer satisfaction management information model of Streaming Media Service using the former model creatively. Lastly, an information model system is provided with the core codes and interfaces. The service and application oriented system information integrated data model designed in this article is compatible with other system and easy to expand because it derives from the standard SID. Meanwhile, this model focuses on the service and user level, which is a creative way in information model study. The feasibility and correctness of the designed model are verified by the customer satisfaction evaluation component of Streaming Media Service.
