With the development of GSM communication network, the network capacity isgrowing, the user perception is one of the focus of the competition is more and moreoperators attention. The user perceived performance is the business end users of the mobilenetwork of subjective feeling, not a quantitative standard to measure, it is difficult tothrough the user perception of the index to measure the quality of the network, it is difficultto carry out the quality of network optimization and optimization of operations, customersatisfaction is one of the most direct way to the user experience understanding and customercomplaints, and customer satisfaction is the most direct way to understand, throughscreening to identify customer complaints, the network can be found in the existingproblems and defects from it, especially in the daily optimization to problems found,therefore, the network problem solving customer complaints is an important supplementarymeans of wireless network optimization the implementation of network optimization goal, isconducive to better.This paper from the GSM network development history, characteristics, systemstructure and the basic principle of the concrete research, summarizes the basic contents ofGSM network optimization and the basic method, and from the two aspects of servicequality and speech quality as evaluation indexes of GSM network optimization, and then tothe Daqing GSM network is analyzed, based on historical data other companies, and theindex contrast, key problem analysis, comprehensive evaluation, using the field test,investigation and analysis, network management and other statistical methods, to find theeffect of GSM network quality five due to complaints: test requirements is not standard, thelack of1800M base station coverage, power control system is not reasonable, the networkinterference and half rate traffic high proportion. Then on the basis of the problem, from thestandard testing process, optimization of complaints1800M urban coverage is notreasonable area, optimal power control parameters, investigation of present networkinterference and reduce the half rate traffic accounted for more than five improvementmeasures, and to test the implementation effect, the Daqing branch of speech qualitycomplaints accounted for millions of users successfully decreased from0.32to0.17,"cityintensive areas" ratio has been decreased from54.8%to32.9%before optimization, network quality improved.
