Design And Implementation Of DSLAM Automated Test System Based On Eclipse RCP And MVC Pattern

DSLAM is digital subscriber line access multiplexer and its function is to accept all of the DSL lines, traffic aggregation, and the equivalent of a floor switch for broadband access. DSLAM test based on Internet Protocol technology, requiring testers to manually test the operation of various devices, depends heavily on the professional level of the test and their understanding of the device software, and test a large extent repetitive work. Therefore, the tester developed to reduce the amount of labor tools, integrated software features a variety of devices, and the device does not require testers to master, to put more attention into the design of the test program.MVC model separate the application of the input, processing, output process into three modules accordance with the view, control, and they undertake different tasks. In the automated test software, the core of the design is the realization of the separation of test cases and test code. This article is designed using MVC pattern and implemented on the Eclipse RCP platform. The main work includes the following aspects:firstly, introduce the background and significance of the research, the concept and function of DSLAM, the development trend of automated testing, the Eclipse RCP platform, application technology, and MVC model design principle; Secondly, in-depth understanding of DSLAM manual testing based on the principle, we design DSLAM automated testing software. The system simulate manual testing steps, both integrated software features and a variety of devices, but also enables automated analysis of test results and test results are also able to interface directly with the graphical display; On the base, the realization of the simulator equipment DSLAM automated testing software is important and difficult, and the paper design and implement the data simulator TestCenter in the integration of automated testing software, the use of MVC pattern, the design and implementation from three aspects of the controller, model, view; Finally, after the completion of the design and implementation, this paper, DSLAM connectivity automation software, equipment and testing equipment to test the simulator, the results show that the software meet the design requirements.
