With the expansion of software scale, automated testing has been extensively researched and applied in software testing process. This paper designs and implements an automated testing platform. This platform is divided into three layers, they are concept definition layer, testing platform interface definition layer and testing platform implementation layer. With the implementation of the platform, users can execute test scripts automatically, determine the status of the test case execution automatically and they can also integrate other automated testing tool into the platform, which will achieve different test tasks done in one platform.There are four test script types in the implementation of this platform in general, including database access script, UNIX server access script, Web Service access script and Windows batch file script and so on. Meanwhile, the implementation of this platform also provides testing tool plug-in programming interface, and by realizing the interface users can integrate different automated testing tools into this platform.With the assistance of this automated testing platform, testing efficiency of both testers and test team could be improved and the test cycle could be reduced. In this case, test team could add a test cycle to the current project or start a new project.
