Data acquisition equipment has been developing towards being intelligent, miniature, wireless and network-connected. In field data measurement systems, such as filed mineral seismic exploration systems, data need to be retrieved from numerous distributed data acquisition nodes, but the heavey cables is very inconvenient to be layouted. The wireless data transmission scheme which features easy-networking robust, and high-speed is expected.Ad Hoc is a new type of non-centric, self-organized and multi-hop wireless communication network, in which all nodes are equal without any central control node. These nodes are able to act as hosts and routers and two of them can communicate via one or multiple hops. The network topology can be constructed dynamicly. This thesis aims to implement the field data wireless transmission network based on Ad Hoc.PowerPC CPUs from Freescale Company are widely used in the industry control and communication fields. In the Ad Hoc protocols are developed on PowerPC platform. The main tasks include:Research on Ad Hoc routing protocol. AODV routing protocol is analyzed and research routing requests, routing replies, routing maintenance and subnet routing algorithms are implemented based on Linux. Parameters are changed for low power comsupption optimization.AODV routing protocol transplantation on PowerPC platform. Linux kernel transplantation, U-Boot transplantation, flat device tree transplantation and root file system production are completed in accordance with the software architecture and software development flow on PowerPC platform. Development of Ad Hoc data transmission system. The software is programmed to realize the Ad Hoc network construction, network topology monitoring and data transmission control, including routing protocol configuration of wireless nodes, data transmission and management monitoring software development.Experiments prove that the Ad Hoc network can be constructed and data can be transmitted via more than 4 PowerPC terminals.
