Research And Implementation Of Campus Streetview System Base On Android Platform

With the great development of GPS and CellID orientation technology, LBS (Location Based Service) has been widespread. Geographic information technology and mobile map service attracts more attentions those years. The strategy of "Geography Space Network" has become one of the most important parts of Internet. After the publishing of StreetView service from Google, people have a new cognition of map, and more and more games and applications have been developed based on Google map and Google StreetView.In consideration of the lack and problem of map service, this thesis implements a mobile campus StreetView service system. This system is composed of several parts:selecting and managing the camera devices, collecting and manufacturing the pictures, designing and implementing the server, further developing the Google Earth APIs, positioning, and displaying and operating the panoramas on the phone. Campus StreetView service providers a new way to experience wondering in the campus. It has stronger visual effect than ordinary map because of vivid panoramas. We still consider the interation design of this application, and do some widgts to avoid the drawbacks of the phone like small size and limited operation. We develop this service system on android platform, which supports this system with fast corresponding speed, good user experience and comfortable UI.
