The Research And Design Of Distributed Data Platform Based On Click System

As the network scale and complexity enlarging rapidly, Internet architecture is facing a grand academic challenge. The forwarding ability of the original routers cannot suffer the requirement of the user network, so it requires upgrading of the routers to satisfy these changes.As the performance of ordinary PC becomes ever more powerful, software routers can easily feed the demand in perimeter network with light network traffic. In addition, the software router has other obvious advantages,including low price and easily modify feature. All these made it has a wide range of applications.Click is such a type of software router, with which users can either freely pick the components from the component library or develop their own components, to meet the functional requirements. The latest version of Click possess most data-plane functional components of the traditional IP router.CPU software router uses software technology for data forwarding, and it generally combines with hardware and software to achieve the function of the router.This paper introduces the working methods and extension methods of Click software router. We build modular software router system based on Click in linux environment, and develop network-based communication platform based on socket. Through the testing in actual environment, we demonstrate good forwarding performance of Click software router through establishing communications on different subnets.At last, The method mentioned before has been verified to be effective and workable.
