With the application of computer and data base technology, telecom enterprises have accumulated a plenty of business data in the Process of development. It is a significant topic in both theory and practice to assemble these data reasonably and analyze scientifically to explore their potential values. Data warehouse is a subject-oriented, integrated, time-variant, and nonvolatile collection of data, which provides a potential solution for those problems with multi-factors and multi-hierarchies effectively by OLAP tools, so it is being researched and applied widely.This paper analyses the various service systems for Shanghai Unicom CO., describes the main requirements and data origin of a statistics and analysis system, and improves the design of system architecture. After analyzing the common model and their advantages and disadvantages, the thesis puts forward an integrated model of "The Top Down Model"and "The Down Top Model" to solve the problems of only using one of them. This integrated model not only satisfies the departments, requirements on statistics and analysis in a few months, but also solves the variance of data and realizes operating on real time and sharing common design and structure.This thesis analyses and realizes the application of data warehouse technology in a statistics and analysis system, and explains the functions and benefits for the enterprise through some cases, such as customer instance analysis and turnover development analysis. The system proves that data warehouse technology is an effective way in the data compression application system which can organize the structure of historical data effectively.Finally, the paper summarizes the work of the system, further indexed that construction of the data warehouse need to solve the problem.
