Since the establishment of China Mobile Communications Corporation, the number of mobile phone users has increased rapidly year by year. Especially after the successful initial public offering abroad in 2004,the number of mobile phone users is ten times larger than before. With the development of the telecommunications market competition, the simple operation analysis system already can’t meet the need of the production. Therefore, a set of complete data which can meet the need of all leaders and staffs and guide the production and business operation management analysis system has become more and more urgent.Under the premise of relatively mature in the operational CRM, data warehouse, data mart, ETL, OLAP technology, in order to fully reflect operational analysis system for centralized storage, multilevel application construction principle, China Mobile Communications Group Jilin Co. LTD started to construct the management analysis system, plan and allocate the provincial management analysis system of data, form data mart system, and provide the corresponding data analysis support for different cities. In July 2005, China mobile put forward the intention of the construction of data mart system, early in 2006 Jilin Mobile started data mart system development work,and after three months of making a sur/ey on every city,it started to develop the design and function of the market platform structure. In July 2006, it has been operated officially and had a couple of larger system upgrade in 2008 and 2010. At present, the system has achieved so many functions, such as KPI show, big customers and customer data query analysis group and early warning, the channel management and evaluation. From the "demand analysis", "platform design" and "function design", this paper expounds the functions of the system of data mart description, analysis and design, and prospects the development direction in the future.After the operation and the establishment of the data mart system,it has achieved a lot. At present, all the people at all levels of the company, whether the decision makers or customer managers, can receive timely comprehensive data support from data mart system. Through the accurate data analysis provided by the system, directors can quickly work out for marketing strategy to deal with the fierce market competition. A line production personnel can know the big customer group clients quickly,and can also prepare for the next step of the dynamic fine service. At present, thousands of people who are the users of Jilin Mobile visit the data system more than ten times a day. In other words, the data mart system really has played an active part in the management of Jilin Mobile.
