Wireless intercom system is ideal for the construction, inspection, maintenance and other work environment of high voltage power transmission line, but there are some common problems, such as high in communication costs, short in communication distance, affecting normal operation during the communication process, existing potential hazards and so on. The communication distance of professional intercom is 3-5 kilometers, and the distances will be increased to 10 kilometers if the repeater is added. The transmission distance of cluster intercom is more than 10 kilometers, but cluster system is large, expensive and not suitable for small area. Therefore, there is great practical value to research communication network technology of long-distance wireless duplex intercom system.In this paper, a new communication network program of wireless intercom system adopting Ad hoc is proposed. Firstly, construction and design idea of the long-distance wireless duplex intercom protocol system are analyzed based on wireless Ad hoc network technology. Secondly, both stationary and low speed wireless intercom system scenarios are simulated using the OPNET network simulation software, and feasibility as well as capability of the communication network protocol system are analyzed. Thirdly, the hardware implementation of network layer and MAC layer is proposed based on ARM and FPGA, the characteristics of implementing routing protocol in embedded Linux system are analyzed and the proposal of implementing on-demand routing is designed based on the Netfilter function framework. Finally, referring to IEEE 802.11MAC agreement process, the main function modules of the MAC layer protocol block diagram are analyzed and designed, and basic test of the MAC layer protocol stack is made.The communication range, power, transmission rate and other parameters of this long-distance wireless duplex intercom system Protocol stack are simulated using the OPNET, the results show that the design of wireless intercom node can meet the practical application requirements...
