Construction industry's need to the building bricks gradually rises along with the quick development of our country national economy, and the huge infrastructure projects bring unprecedented opportunity and challenge for building bricks manufacturers. On one hand, the huge market's need makes the manufacturers have the ample motive for producing, on the other hand, the manufacturers are still using lagging product line because of the influence of objective factor, just as price etc.The most urgently resolved problems of the line are low efficiency, low capability and low automation degree currently. While using computer technology to manage the production, collect and control the production process has gotten more and more attention, and PLC and configuration software is new technology that response to this development. They provide users with quick means of building industrial control systems.Based on the automation controlling system of the transport vehicle in the factory, this paper applies PLC technology, inverter technology and powerful configuration software technology to design and implement the controlling system of transport vehicle based on PLC and WINCC.The main work done of this paper are as follows:(1) Through analyzing the present situation of transport vehicle at home and abroad, and pointing out the shortcomings of transport vehicle in our country, the technology of combination of PLC and WINCC is proposed to design the control system for the first time in domestic research of this area.(2)After studying the factory's needs carefully, we design the reasonable mechanical structure of the vehicle, and analyze the key structures in detail.(3)According to the specificity of industrial area, This system uses the S7-200 PLC as the core of the control system, and the hardware structure of the whole system has been designed. It highlights the question of the frequency control.(4) We prepare the control programs in software STEP7-Mirco/Win SP4 with modular method and design an industrial pioneering parking way to ensure positioning accuracy. And WINCC is chosen as the controlling system configuration software. We find out the comminication methods between S7-200 PLC and WINCC. The main controlling interfaces have been designed.(5) At last a variety of performance tests have been carried out and the test results have been analyzed after installing and debugging the transport vehicle control system in the factory.The test results show:the design of the controlling system of the transport vehicle has achieved the anticipated effect. This system has been used in the factory for more than one year and runs well.It not only increases the safe production,but also brings big economic benefits for the factory.
