PC-based numerical control system usually has large volume and superfluous function so it can't be packed into micro or small system whose volume is limited,compa- reing with simple functional system. Embedded system which has characters of small, private, portable and high reliability meets the shortfall of PC-based CNC.It can work flexible,stable and reliable in the extreme environment and means a low-cost control system to NC technology. Such as industrial process control, industrial equipment controllers and device controllers.An embedded factory transport vehicle of NC system based on ARM microcontroller andμC/OS-II operating system was introduced, a vehicle platform of two wheels drive was established, route planning and track control was researched. Dijkstra algorithm was discussed detaily and an efficient route planning algorithm base on specific application environment was designed.Then simulation run inμC/GUI graphic user interface.An model of factory transport vehicle of embedded NC system was designed, upper&lower end hardware architectur was built, whose cores are S3C44B0X and M16C/62 processors.μC/OS-II operating system andμC/GUI graphic user interface was transplanted. The vehicle has LCD display and touch input so user can set its payload,speed,running time and change its route. Driver procedures of LCD and touch screen and GUI programming was introduced. Step motor's drive module was designed. Task module of software system and the method of communication between the tasks was Introduced.
