In higher education, practice teaching, as the main method to improve students' practical ability and cultivate their comprehensive ability, impact on the quality of teaching directly. The traditional practice teaching management is not only inefficient, poor timelines, but also causes a lot of repetitive work, so it is unable to meet the needs of management and teaching. To meet the credit reform, improve practice management efficiency and service level, and make a full use of the laboratory resources, a context of a practice teaching management information system based on credit is proposed. After analyzing practice teaching management based on credit and comparing the different kinds of management information system platform mode, the author selected the appropriate system development environment and tools, made a research and design of the function modules of the system and provided the solution to the problems in the process of management.Consider the large amount of user, used Browser/Server model to simplify program development, reduce late maintenance and improve the level of information sharing. The development tool is Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and the database is Microsoft SQL Server 2000. The system uses multi-tier distributed software architecture, which is logically divided into the customer tier, Web tier, business tier and database service tier.The system provides services to education managers, teachers and students. Managers can watch the process of practice teaching, monitor and adjust the arrangements of practice teaching. Teachers can easily arrange teaching by using the system, and students can choose experiment courses and projects directly. The system is divided into laboratory management module, laboratory construction module, practice teaching management module, open laboratory management module, the device management module and intelligent dynamic web site module. Those modules are described in the thesis.In order to solve the problem of information sharing during the management, the idea of service-oriented architecture was proposed, which shares information by the Web Service technology in campus net and provides necessary architecture support and interface design by the same time. In order to support the automation and semi-automation of business process, workflow is introduced into the thesis for modeling, monitoring and managing of the system. On web tier,.Net 2.0 design pattern is used for enhancing the robustness of the system, reusability and maintainability. On business tier, apply a lightweight workflow engine to meet the changes of business process.
