ABSTRACT:Electrolytic power belongs to low voltage large current equipment, its quality has close relationship with the electrolytic product purity, meanwhile as the main energy consumer in the electrolysis industry, its efficiency is in relation to the quantity of energy saving, its power factor and harmonic distortion is in relation to the pollution level to power network, therefore, for the electrolysis industry, developing high quality power is an important way to achieve the goals, such as energy-saving, environmental protection, greening and so on.This paper analyzes the current status and prospects of the electrolytic power supply. Compared with the high frequency switching power supply, there are some problems in the traditional SCR power supply, such as low power factor, large output voltage ripple, low efficiency, poor stability and so on. In view of the above shortcomings, ZVS phase-shifted full-bridge, abbreviation ZVS PSC-FB, converting technology, multi-modules parallel redundant technology and digital control technology are introduced into the design of electrolytic power supply so as to improve the dynamic response speed, the efficiency, the power factor, and reduce the pollution level to the power network.The principle of the ZVS PSC-FB PWM converter is described in detail. Base on this principle, a 10000A/15V electrolytic power supply is produced successfully. In the paper, the design process is introduced, including selection of key components in main circuit, achievement of control strategy, touch screen interface and remote network communication, and the design of water cooling systemn. In the end, the PSIM simulation and experiment results verify the correction of the theoretical analysis and parameter design. The development of this power supply would be of great help to improve the quality of the electrolytic product and the operation environment of the power grid.
