FLASH Streaming Technologies adopts mode of manual entering draw process of move chess to chessboard, but manual entering hard to avoid to make a mistake or to update chessboard no in time, and it expends a mass of labor cost. On account of this condition, this thesis submit a new design that is application of RFID technique to chess competitions, make use of powerful distinguish object capacity of RFID technology, to solve above problem. Its main component includes the following:Firstly, makes models of application of RFID technology to chess competitions .Secondly, analysis the hardware component of chess competitions recording system and designs hardware system, implements the card readers behinds chessboard reads smart cards behind chesses, and send the information to the Computer. Thirdly, achieve RS232 serial communication between hardware component and software system. Finally, this thesis adopts Visual Basic 6.0 development PC management system, and shows software framework and designing idea of management system, the paper uses the inheritance and encapsulation of Visual Basic 6.0,which simplifies the design work, and shows software frame and designing though of management system. This thesis adopts RFID technology recording the whole competition courses, supply a gap of manual input. In addition, the data storage capacity of adopting RFID technology recording chess competitions procedure are few, is propitious to memory and transmitting.
