Compared with the traditional analysis methods, spectrum analysis has the advantages of high speed,high precision and non-destructive analysis, therefore it is widely used in the fields of astronomy, remote sensing of atmospheric pollutant, food analysis and military field. Interferometer spectrometer is a key way to obtain spectral information. After some kinds of spectrum recovery of interference fringe methods were analyzed and compared ,this paper presented the interference fringes collection and spectrum recovery system using FPGA based on the basic principles of Fourier Transform Spectroscopy, in the single chip all the processing steps were implemented, therefore it had some advantages, such as high integration,high processing speed and strong flexibility.First, the characteristics of spectral analysis, application fields, the development history of interference spectrometer and the advantages of FPGA implement digital signal processing were introduced. Second, this paper introduced the theory of optical interference and the basic principle of Fourier Transform Spectroscopy, and on the basis of above theory the interference fringes data processing steps were introduced in detail. And then all of the modules were designed based on FPGA ,including the external smallest circuit of FPFA, AD converter module, Apodization module and data transmission module based on USB2.0. Finally, the AD converter module, USB data transmission module and overall functional module were tested. The results show that the interference fringes collection and spectrum recovery system based on FPGA is feasible.
