Research On Mobile Navigation System Based On Embedded System

With the development of global positioning technology and the popularity of embedded devices, mobile navigation system has been applied to many fields. Mobile navigation systems are involved in GIS, GPS, embedded systems, mobile communications and other areas of the different technologies integrated system project. This paper research the mobile phone navigation system based on embedded system from embedded system and GPS mobile navigation.In embedded systems, this paper focusing on the construction of embedded systems. In embedded hardware systems: completed the ARM core board circuit design, mother board circuit design, GPS circuit design. In embedded software systems: completed U-Boot transplantation, Linux kernel transplantation, LCD driver transplantation, DM9000 driver transplantation, SD card driver transplantation, touch screen driver transplantation, support for NandFlash, making YAFFS2 file system, etc. Finally, the embedded systems meet the ability to develop mobile phone navigation.In mobile phone navigation, completed Qtopia mobile platform transplantation, GPS module circuit design, ARM-Linux system's GPS module Driver design, GPS data format analysis, GPS data package analysis program design, MapInfo format e-map analysis. Completed the mif format map reading and redraw by using QT to call mitab's interface functions. Finally, mobile navigation was implemented by matching the received GPS latitude and longitude to the electronic map.
