Research Of Embedded Linux System And Development Of Net Device Driver

With the development of computer technology, communication technology and the in-depth application of the Internet, embedded systems are widely applied to many fields including science research, engineering design, military technology, industry and commerce. With the further exploitation and spread of the domestic embedded products, more and more embedded systems are running around us.Linux operation system has advantages of well stability,high reliability,open source coding,clipping,free copyright and etc, it has become a new strength in embedded fields,and has huge market potential and commerce value. So it has important realistic significantion for researching embedded Linux operation system and developing its net device driver program.The embedded system and embedded Linux system's family and development is mainly introduced in this thesis, Linux system's kernel source code tree is introduced ,Linux kernel's SCHED, MM, VFS, NET and IPC five subsystems and interdependent relation are analyzed, Linux system's process management, memory management and file system are deeply researched; new v2.6 Linux kernel's characters are introduced.During the transplanting embedded Linux system to home net communicatin platform,embedded development environment is established by the software of VMWare, ease the embeded development; the transplant of the vivi, v2.6.14 kernel and two popular root systems—CRAMFS and JFFS2 are detailed researched and implemented,build integrated embedded system; two transplant technology of file system of CRAMFS and JFFS2 are adopted, effectively solve data running and storaging's program; the transplanting of TinyLogin, inetd super server and embedded Web server thttpd are researched and inplemented, make communication platform have the function of user management and net service etc.the structure,working theory inplement mode and fucntion of net driver program is researched; combine the project of embedded home net communication platform, Ethernet chip driver's program of initialize, open, close, incept and reception are developed and designed, and the ethernet connect function of the communication platform is implemented by these programs..
