In recent years, along with the rapid development of the multi-disciplinary techniques such ascomputer technology, automatic control technology electronics, mechatronics, signal and image processingtechnology, They have a more closely combination of ultrasonic testing. At present, The ultrasonic testingto various parts of our country is still mostly in the manual phase。There are a lot of problems such as thelack of the professional testing personnel. The low degree of automation.The ambiguity of the detectionprocess of a serious of parts feature. it makes the digital technology ,intelligence, visualization, automationbecome the inevitable trend and research focus of the ultrasonic testing. The computer aided detectionprocess design software aimed at general ultrasonic testing equipment has not been designed.The topic comes from this issue of"automatically ultrasonic detect accessories in CNCmachine", This topic aims at the cylindrical parts of the rotational parts ,according to thedifferent shape characteristics and material properties. Using computer technology, databasetechnology and artificial intelligence techniques to develop a software system in the differenttesting requirements and test environment. In order to achieve the best ultrasonic testing aideddesign of the cylindrical parts. So the significance of this system development is to speedup the detection process, reduce the testing costs, improve the accuracy of detection processformulation.The main contents of this paper:(1) The paper studies the system function of the computer aided detection process design,proposes the overall idea and structure of the system divides the function modules anddescribes the workflow of the system in detail .(2) study the ultrasonic testing process knowledge, experience knowledge and reasoningprocess of the cylindrical parts with various shapes in the features(3) This paper studies how to store and manage the detection process knowledge usingthe database technology, and build detection process inference using the artificial intelligence, at last make the computerization of the detection process knowledge and detection processinference come true. Ultimately make the establishment of the detection process convenient,Rationalization and standardization.(4) The paper studies the functional structure of the software system, complete thedetection process of the cylindrical parts with various shapes in the features by an exampleapplication. and lay a foundation of the system software development for the "automaticallyultrasonic detect accessories in CNC machine"...
