Radio Frequency Identification is one type of non-contact automatic realization technology that uses radio frequency communication, it uses RF signal to realize target, can realize many targets which move fast in one time and gets its relevant data automatic. The whole recognition process needs no manual intervention. Its application involving logistics, air, animal husbandry, mobile commerce, coupons management, automated production lines and other industries, it is considered one of the most prospective ten technologies in 21th century.First, having an exposition about the RFID data collection terminal and its principle of composition, according the need of our project, we design and realize an embedded UHF mobile reader based on ARM and embedded Linux, the reader can realize UHF RFID tags that consistent with the EPC and ISO standards. Then, having a more in-depth discussions with RFID middleware technology, RFID middleware is in the hub position in the RFID system, it provides a transparent mechanism to access the underlying devices for upper application, then, having a analysis to several well-known enterprises RFID middleware products in this paper, proposing a lightweight RFID middleware framework which is more in line with the practical application of the current SME RFID application, we also have a more in-depth research about RFID event subscribe/release mechanism and RFID event processing algorithms, about the RFID tags redundant algorithm, we have a comparative Analysis among the realization of algorithm on the RFID reader, on the server-side XML storage method and the database memory storage method, and then we get their respective suitable application environment. Finally, to resolve the problem of the RFID reader's short read and write distance, proposing a new RFID data collection network based on the technology of Ad hoc, analysising several major conflicts existed in the network and giving corresponding solutions using existed tecnology.
