With the high-speed development of computer technology, embedded system has become a very important part of computer science. Meanwhile, nowadays plenty of the embedded applications call for better performance and functionality. The system performance of 8/16-bit microcontroller can't meet that demand. ARM7TDMI is an efficient and low-power RISC core. Based on this core, S3C44B0X has integrated many devices, and it is suit for processor in embedded system. Based on S3C44B0X, the paper has designed a data acquisition system based onμC/OS-Ⅱfor operating system. The main content can be summarized as follows:(1) Describing present situation and development trend of embedded system and collection system. Analysis of the application of the embedded data acquisition system.(2) Studying the embedded real-time operating systemμC/OS-Ⅱ, analyzing its core concept and composition structure, transplants condition ofμC/OS-Ⅱwhich on the ARM processor needs, and successfully ported to ARM processor after tailor. (3)Describing the architecture and function of ARM7 S3C44B0X.(4) Analyzing composition and the function of the multi-channel data acquisition system hardware module, and signal filtering processing algorithm of the multi-channel data acquisition system. Establishing software environment for cross-compiling and debugging of embedded system based on ARM S3C44B0X andμC/OS-Ⅱ,designing a multi-task to achieve their data acquisition, Completing data acquisition and IIR filter design based on ARM andμC/OS-Ⅱ.
