With the high-speed development of computer technology and the coming of the post-PC era, embedded system has become a very important part of computer science and becomes a new technical focus. Meanwhile, plenty of the embedded applicatians nowadays call for better performance and functionality. The system performance of 8/16-bit microcontroller can't meet that demand. ARM7TDMI is an efficient and low-power RISC core. Based on this core, S3C44B0X has integrated many devices, and it is suit for processor in embedded system.A data acquisition system based on ARM processor andμC/OS-Ⅱoperation system is studied in the dissertation. The main content can be summarized as follows:(1) The system configuration of ARM7 S3C44B0X and the concept of BootLoader are described, and the BootLoader is designed on reference of open-source BootLoader.(2) The notion and characteristic aboutμC/OS-Ⅱare researched and the conditions aboutμC/OS-Ⅱtransplanting in ARM processor are analyzed. Then, theμC/OS-Ⅱis transplanted successfully into ARM processor.(3) The working principles of AD, multi-serial ports, LCD and keyboard modules are introduced, and the drivers of these four modules are designed. Experiments prove the performance of these modules to be steady.(4) On the base of ARM S3C44B0X andμC/OS-II operation system, multi-task for implementing four-path data acquisition function is designed. After testing and analyzing the data, the system is proved to be efficient and stable.
