Design And Implementation Of Commercial Searching System Based On WebGIS Technology

With the popularity of the Internet, more and more people began to use search systems to search all kinds of information, and search engines is one of search methods used widely. But search engines often returns numerous irrevelant information with the needs of users and degrades the accuracy of the research result. In order to improve the effectiveness of searching, vertical search engines came into the market. At the same time, WebGIS is becoming one of the hot applications of Internet, the popular Web Map, such as Google Maps, Baidu map, mapbar map, MapABC maps etc, provides different needs to different user groups. However, it is still difficult to meet the needs of customers, because of the less number of WebGIS search system for a particular area, the low search efficiency and the imperfect function.This article aims to build a search system for hardware industry information bases on WebGIS, so as to meet the user's need to the location services and the search of field information. Based on the research of hardware industry and users, the works in two aspects mainly are made: First, it interfaces the function of map applications with the system implementation with MapABC API, so that the search system integrates WebGIS-based functions, achieving the basic map function of enlarging, reducing, scale, ranging and others, the personalized mark freely of the hardware business users, as well as public transport query and other functions, thus we can provide services to users directly in the form of maps; Second, the means of acquiring information are expanded, it not only contains the corporate and product information released by the hardware companies in platform, but also integrate in the collecting technology of pages, pages of information extraction technology and index, and other related technologies in the search engine, so it can research the information extensively on the Internet, enrich the content searched for user and expand the source of information in considerable extent.This article designed and implemented search system of hardware industry information based on WebGIS. It has the functions of hardware enterprise information management, hardware product information management, user tagging, the basic features of Web map, web information collection, indexing device and user management capabilities, and meet the requirements of searching efficiently of hardware Industrial users and the actual needs of convenient map's application.
