This paper studies and designs a wireless data transmission system based on Zigbee (2.4GHz band), a transmission system based on WLAN (5.8GHz band) for wireless video monitoring, and a reverse control system for testing wireless data communication systems. With in which combination of three systems, effectively achieve the data collection of weather station automatic transmission, monitoring the automatic weather station location watershed, testing the data collection system of the automatic weather station.This topic, comes from "Heihe River Field Station data transmission system "project, provided by the Cold and Arid Regions Environmental and Engineering Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The wireless data transmission system designed in this paper with low cost, little power consumption reliable communications, transmission distance (furthest distance greater than 20km). Monitor regional of video surveillance system to 70km2, which could completely covers the automatic weather station location watershed. Reverse control system access wireless communication system, the host machine could control it, and the reverse control system can also put its state back to the host machine, which could view the state of automatic weather station data acquisition system through the host machine. This paper The design of wireless communications antennas of this paper using micro-strip backfire in the form, which can effectively increase the gain and the development of wide bandwidth.The farthest distance from several weather stations of Heihe station to its construction home base, and the weather stations are set up in the mountains, They used artificially way to collect data originally, walk to the farthest stations take 5 hours, and couldn't collect the data if the weather is bad. After completion of the project, the original laborious and time-consuming way that Staff walking several hours to field stations artificially collect data has been changed, facilitate the staff of the field meteorologists.At present, the project has been passed the testing, debugging and installing, the system is stable and reliable.
