The Study On The Zashi Catalogue Of History Category In The Classified Bibliography

ZaShi is the secondary category of history department directory in the categories of four sections of ancient books of China, which was set in the books catalogue in Sui Shu. Since then. ZaShi was set mostly in the categories which were described by the authority and the individual person. Because records and the definition of ZaShi were different in the catalogues, so this paper researchs comprehensively.This paper mainly about the reasons which the ZaShi was set, the definition, characteristics, evolution,status, value of ZaShi by researching evolution and the records of categories of history books. ZaShi was emerged depended on a number of factors became one of the important categories of history department from books catalogue in Sui Shu to General Catalogues of Imperial Collection of Four. The categories of ZaShi was different greatly in all kinds of catalogues. ZaShi which is massive has grate historical value. The huge number of books ZaShi most high historical value, the literature in Chinese ancient bibliography and literature has an important position in the history.
