As concepts of the internet of things were proposed and applications were carried out, a new round of informatization will facilitate community into a communication era of omniscient internet of things. WSANs(Wireless sensor and actor networks), which are the base network of the internet of things, combine kinds of information sensing device with the internet to form a large networks that all articles get network connection. Smart home is an important application of the internet of things, so it is necessary to build a lightweight, easy wiring, low-cost, self-adaptive, self-organization and comfortable smart home prototype system based on the internet of things in current smart home field.In the background of smart home prototype system based on WSANs and integration of heterogeneous networks, the paper mainly researched the design and implementation of IPP(information pushing platform) which is a part of system. This research is partly supported by the Beijing Natural Science Foundation under Grant No.4092030 and the program of New Century Excellent Talents in University of China under Grant No.NCET-08-0737.Firstly, the paper introduced researching background, development trend and key technologies of the smart home systems. Secondly, it systematically introduced the structure, functions and attributes of the entire system. Then, it detailedly expressed concrete implementation of IPP, including framework design, hardware design and software design. Finally, it decrypted function tests and performance tests of IPP as well as improvement on the basis of IPP.
