With the emerging of Next Generation Network and the increase of consumer requirements, service providers must establish more powerful service supporting environment, as well as develop more comprehensive and personalized services. Since testing guarantees the quality of network service, a series of tests must be carried out before the new service is deployed into real networks. This paper proposes a SIP-based Service Testing Environment (SIP-STE) according to the structure of Next Generation Network, which is a significant part of Service Creating Environment in the Converged Network Service Supporting Platform. As its functions consist of user terminal emulating, network topology representing, SIP message flow, mass call test, automated test and so on, SIP-STE is able to simplify and accelerate testing procedure when service developers verify the service logic, monitor the service and implement performance test. SIP-STE emulates the Converged Network Service Supporting Platform to ensure the coherence between service testing and service deployment. The main work of this paper is as follow:The first chapter gives the background and the goal of this task. The second chapter introduces the Converged Network Service Supporting Environment and relevant techniques. The third chapter is SIP-STE requirement analysis and its relationship with supporting environment. The fourth chapter shows the function list and the system structure of SIP-STE. Based on previous parts, the fifth chapter gives the detailed implementation of SIP-STE modules. The sixth chapter illustrates the deployment and schedule to test SIP-STE, as well as typical test cases. The last chapter makes a summary of the author's work during projects and points out what could be improved in the system at next stage. |
