The Session Initiation Protocol Of Next Generation Network And Its Testing Method Research

Recently,With the development of the world people have more requirements of communication, the traditional network can not satisfy people's requirements because more and more people eager to multimedia communicaion . What is more, just audio is not enough, people want to see the figure of each other during communication. The quality of communication is needed to be more perfect and the cost of that is anticipant to be more inexpensive, all of this accelerate the development of Next Generation Network.Session Initiation Protocol is a developing protocol derived from Internet standard and protocol with the style of conciseness,open, compatibility and extensibility. The security under the complex network environment is also taken into account. The protocol supports all the service of public switch telephone network, including IN and ISDN service. The attendants can use the invite message with SDP to create the session., the user's mobility is relized by the agent and redirecting .As a multimedia session signal protocol of application layer, SIP can create a session procedure then the other attendants are invited to the session which are informed to every attendant by SAP, e-mail,website announcemen and LDAP,etc.Firstly there mainly introduce the theory of testing science and the methods of protocol testing and the standard, realiztion and performance of that.The mainly purpose of this is for the design and realize of the testing tools.In the paper, there principally analyse and research the Session Initiation Protocol. On the grounds of the messages structure of Session Initiation Protocol, we can research the process of calling which based on the Session Initiation Protocol. So we can understand the basic principle of Session Initiation Protocol of Next Generation Network.At the same time we will see the unique characteristic of Session Initiation Protocol. In the end, expatiate the design and realize of testing tools of Session Initiation Protocol. On the base of coherence theory of protocol testing,there illuminate the advantage of testing tools of Session Initiation Protocol which acord with the requirements of Next Generation Network about performance testing.
