| Nowadays, our society is in the age of Internet and tide of information is unstoppable on the earth. Internet access is become more and more common and easier in china. Website is playing an important role with its own unique advantage in the process of informatization. In order to make teachers and students who are two main parts in the campus can communicate effectively, This convenience and interface-friendly open information communication system is developed, with assistance of UML modelling and LAMP techniques. Performance assessment by teachers includes two parts:objective and subjective. Objective part means the exam results and homework marks. Subjective part means the assessment of students'study effectiveness in classes. It can make students study initially without monitoring. Performance assessment by students can stimulate teachers to improve quality of lower-marked programme accordingly. Moreover, it can improve the teachers' teaching quality and the education level of the whole university. Teachers and students can check lectures information, they also can ask questions, express opinions, help solving problems and communicate experience through blogs, forums and emails.This system uses B/S structure, teachers and students can visit the website through the Internet browsers. With Internet access, you can communicate and check through the system at any time and any place. This system adopts a popular techniques-LAMP(LinuxOS+Apache+MySQL+PHP), with the supplement of visualized software design tools-Dreamweaver and UML modelling software-Jude, as the development environment. This system is placed on Linux, a open code system. So it is low cost, widely applicable and easier adjustable. Apache is used as the web server software and it can run on the nearly all the computer platforms because of its compatibility and security. Free and handy MySQL is used as my database. The PHP language is used to develop with the assistance of EditPlus. EditPlus is a small and powerful 32 bit editor which can process texts, html and program language. Dreamweaver is a web editor which can design webs and manage webs. The combined use of Dreamweaver and EditPlus can actualize the separation of codes and webs. Jude is a small and practical tool for UML modelling. It can draw kinds of charts and is good for analysis and design of object oriented programming.The system uses iterative method based on the idea of swift design to develop this website. It uses united modelling language to create object oriented models to the system. Users can be categorized into three characters:teacher, student, and administrator. According to different users'demand, different functions are designed in order to classify and actualize different function module and make the system more expandable and maintainable. Feasibility analysis, demand analysis, database design, and detailed system design and website actualization will be described and discussed in this essay. |
