Nowadays, as the standard of the third generation mobile communication system proposed by China, TD-SCDMA system has been commercially available and could provide users with various data services. The statistics has shown that, most of the mobile communication occurs in indoor low-speed environments. However, as the 3rd generation mobile communication works on 2Ghz frequency, the signal quality for indoor user is not very well, which would reduce the users'quality of service.Femtocell technology is used in indoor environment to deal with insufficient macro cell coverage problem. HNB can expand the coverage of 3G system, reduce the blind coverage, and lighten the load of macrocell greatly. However, new interference for macrocell will emerge because of the deployment of HNB. And the interference may affect the performance of existing network.In this paper, the interference of macrocell caused by HNB has been analyzed firstly. Then, the influence of femtocells sharing the same spectrum with macro cells in several interference scenarios is analyzed by static system level simulation. The simulation focuses on the interference scenarios caused by HNB deployment in different locations, densities and transmitting power. Finally, based on the simulation results, some valuable advices about HNB deployment have also been proposed.
