| Traditional switched network centralizes all service and control abilities on switch, leading to too long a period to provide a new service. Besides, it is hard to get profit from simple services. As a result, business requirement prompts the emergence of Next Generation Network(NGN). Access Gateway(AG) is on subscriber side, implements broadband access of NGN and is highly expected. Meanwhile, test automation is more and more popular. How to introduce test automation into AG testing becomes a topic.SIP/MEGACO is used between AG and softswitch, and after call establishment RTP is used as load bearing protocol. When SIP and RTP is working, some exceptions may happen to AG and might not be reproduced. This leads to trouble in locating problems. And then the check of SIP call flow and RTP parameter appears.From the requirement point of view, this dissertation firstly introduces NGN and access gateway, and gives a short introduction to SIP and RTP. Secondly, aiming at the interfaces supplied by AG and problems existing in manual test of AG, this paper raises the procedure of carrying out test automation for AG, describes the test automation framework of AG from the UML point of view and analyzes the profit of test automation compared to manual test. Finally the paper states in detail the system layout and implementation of checking SIP call integrality and RTP parameter validity. The system is tested and works normally:it can react properly no matter there is or is not relative pre-defined call model, and as a result it brings function into play. |
