With the rapid development of the information technology, information technology penetrates to people's all aspects of life, especially the personal information security has attracted more and more attention from domestic and abroad. Among them, the identity authentication especially fingerprint identification technology has become a priority of personal information security research and an issue urgently need to be resolved. For the fingerprint has characteristics such as lifelong unchangeable, uniqueness and convenience, the fingerprint identification occupies an important position in the identity authentication especially in the field of pattern recognition.The content of this thesis is supported by the national natural science foundation project and liaoning province natural science foundation project, is one of the major content of the study. In the project, through scanning the barcode of the users' certificates or users'fingerprint information decoded by anti-counterfeiting mask, and compare it with the acquisition of the fingerprint on site, carry on identity checks. Checkout process puts forward optical joint transform related technologies and based on FPGA fingerprint matching feature points identification of two certification schemes. This paper mainly focuses on the fingerprint of preprocessing principle and realization, and based on MATLAB simulation, then using Generator System transplant it into ISE development software algorithm, and make synthesis and simulation to it.The main research contents include:(1) Make a very detailed discussion and analysis to the fingerprint's preprocessing algorithm. Fulfill the Matlab simulation and verification of the fingerprint's preprocessing algorithm, the effect is good. Expand deep research of the Gabor filter, and get the enhanced effect figure of the fingerprints in different direction.(2) To achieve the modeling of the pre-processing algorithm in Simulink, make research on each processing module, focuses on the conversion method of the image from the two-dimensional data to the one-dimensional data stream, gives the corresponding simulation waveforms, achieve the algorithm's conversion from software simulation to the hardware model and pass the simulation test. (3) Use the System Generator software to transplant the algorithm to the ISE software, make synthesis and simulation of the algorithm, achieve the hardware language realization of the pre-processing algorithm, and finally comparing the simulation waveform output in Simulink, and improve the hardware language of the algorithm...
