Because the structure feature of large space constructions space span big, the fire compartment oversized, the function of equipments complex and height high, the large space construction firefighting caused difficulty problems of the firefighting system. The large space fire artillery control system is designed to aim at those problems. The fire artillery control system can recognize fire automatically by graphic, to void the examination time delay. It's good to make sure fire detection accuracy and timeliness. At the same time, the firefighting work would be carried on effectively by focused on the fire eradication. It's solved the automatic spraying water from nozzles would be vaporized hard to arrive at the fire. Therefore, the large space fire artillery control system has solved the two difficulty problems. The fire artillery control system was good performance, complex structure, and high reliability requirements. Once the large space construction on fire, it would safeguard the fire artillery control system operation steady. The fire artillery central controller is the kernel to the fire artillery control system. By analysis the importance and specific characteristic of firefighting, this paper proposed the research of fire artillery central controller hot standby application system. It was adopted the hot-standby technology to the fire artillery central controller. So the high reliability of the fire artillery control system was greatly improved. The design usedμC/OSⅡoperating system with preemptive scheduling strategy, which guaranteed the system real-time for the system. It's responsible for system control and management, the execution of task scheduling, correspondence, realized system fault-tolerant performance. The system was designed with double processor architecture, communication with duel-machine, realization switching tasks and dual fault detection tasks by CPLD arbitration logic unit, the system's dual machine sync tasks security fault detection, The fire artillery central controller would correspond with devices on the field through the interface with RS-485, data storage unit with calibration and the central manual operating panel. The system superior interface were designed including the Lab view monitoring the status of dual-machine and the central manual operating panel using TPC1063H on the filed. It was realized the real-time monitoring the status of dual-machine and effectively controlling the central manual operating panel, connected with linkage facilities, alarmed as soon as possible to put the fire out.This paper discussed the plan of fire artillery central controller hot standby system, designed the hardware part and the software part, and completed the reliable operating of the large space fire artillery control system. It has realized system's superior interface monitor and the central manual control panel remotely control. The overall system operated well, has achieved the anticipated aim and had the good research significance through debugged and operated the design. It had good practical significance.
