Design And Implementation Of News Portal Based On MVC Architecture

Portal site means systems which connect with the integrated internet and can provide related information service. Because of the competition from market portal needs to develop different new services to attract the customers. So now people could find any information they want on the web sites. Now many main portals have to deal with a large number of data.In this paper, our aim is to build a portal with Three-tier architecture mode.we researched on the main technology used to develop portal, which is named MVC Three-tier architecture mode. We use B/S structure, ASP.NET,Master Page mode and ADO.NET database to build the portal, in order to make the function like news reviewing, publishing, commenting, searching come true.Then a News Portal Based on MVC Architecture is finished at the same time. And the system which include several main functions as blow:(1) News Browse(2) News Issuance(3) News Review(4) News Auditing(5) Searching in the satationThe Three-tier architecture mode make the development more clearly and efficiently. Because of the Three-tier architecture mode, we make the work clearly and quickly. The Master Page mode makes the layout of the portal much better.The traditional portal usually deal with single task. And do not consider reusing. A portal with poor structure is hard to maintain. But the portal with Three-tier architecture mode is quite different. It is easy to replace the old layer with new one. We mainly research on the designing mode and the developing technology.And we find out the Advantages and Shortcomings of Three-tier architecture mode, NET Framework, ASP.NET, ADO.NET and Master Page mode. We research on the developing environment, function-deed and non-function-need. The method of building portal is also described clearly. Finally, we take a test of the portal and point out the way of next step.
