| The21st century has witnessed rapid development information technology, in which backdrop educational informatization has been an irreversible trend. College informatization proves to be an integral part of college connotative development, on which college web portals serve as window on the institution of higher learning and information facility facilitating teaching, research, management and life on campus. Giving full play to the role rapid information innovation play in upgrading web portals of Guangxi Arts Institute is of vital importance in implementation of scientific and connotative development of the college.The present dissertation aims at designing and realization of a college web portal system based on ASP.NET and SQL SERVICE tailored to meet the requirements of in stitutions of higher learning for arts. The dissertation begins with introduction of background, the status quo, and significance of the thesis, followed by the second chapter which presents introduction of the development platform of Visual Studio2012, definition and strengths of MVC development patterns, Microsoft SQL Server2008R2and N-tier. The third chapter presents system requirements analysis including business requirement, functions requirements and nonfunctional requirements, followed by the fourth chapter which deliberates on the overall design of the system in the two perspectives of designing principles and function modules design. The fifth chapter delves into the design details and realization of the design through introduction of system development environment and case study of realization of several modules. The dissertation if concluded with discussion on system test.With stable functioning, friendly user interface, simple operation and easy access, the Web portal has become an indispensible window on the Guangxi Arts Institute, with its roles of teaching and research information provider and information pool all rolled into one. |
