In recent years, as network technology, computer chip processing power and the rapid development of embedded Linux system, and various digital video processing system, video monitoring the emergence of a new network into the digital age. Nowadays, embedded technology develops rapidly, is taking a dizzying pace embedded each technical areas. Video technology and combining with embedded technology based on embedded technology, to realize the network video monitoring, is today's an important application of the embedded technology.This paper introduces the developing situation at home and abroad embedded operating system, the development board image collection process, based on the video image transmission wireless networks, the basic concept and image compression mpeg-4 use of the algorithm. This paper describes in detail based on the ARM wireless streaming video media transmission system development process, the whole system platform was designed using the most common system structure of embedded system development. Design concept is from the bottom, namely first design, then task division operating system flowcharts, finally write related tasks through coding realized.This paper discusses the design of the system and the method of realizing thought. First introduced the system hardware platform, the article mainly describes the characteristics of MINI2440 processor development boards and some peripheral, then, this paper introduces the needs of design system key technology, including the embedded system with transplants, video collection custom, video compression, video transmission, video playback. This paper introduces in detail the embedded Linux system Spca5xx - LE USB camera driving the compiler and transplantation, using Linux system Video for Linux (under V4L) graphics programming interfaces picture gathering, and in embedded systems use your RTP agreement JRTPLIB construction and implement image network transmission. The client software design QtDesigner realize, using the developed by the control tool JPEG decoding and images showed function, and on this basis to add your RTP transfer protocol, in order to receive signals from embedded end of image data and send video playback display, finally realizes the some control function. Through the experiment results show that the system, this paper designed through wireless lans can be able to interact with users real-time streaming video, transmitted to the user's hand. System can be stable operation, the image quality is good, the video monitor meeting basic requirements.
