Along with the rapid development of network game industry, the traditional online games with clients can no longer fit all of the players' needs, the idea of non-client online game emerged as time required. Non-client online games based on Flash become popular in recent years. By using the developing language ActionScript, Flash makes loading game data in real time possible, which also allows players to obtain as good display effect and experience as games with clients without downloading game clients. Non-client online games have become a hotspot in the field of game designing and developing. "Eternal Destiny" is a non-client Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) based on Flash. The game tells a story about immortals and ghosts. In this game, players can make their adventures in a distinct continent made up of five different domains.The main work of this thesis is as follows:1. Based on the game project "Eternal Destiny", the design philosophy, the technical architecture, and game engine building of non-client online games based on Flash are analyzed.2. Designing idea of Guide module in the non-client online game is analyzed and a series of designing principles are summarized. As for the common problem of low guide efficiency, some solutions such as dividing one guide into several guides are put forward. Design of Guide module of "Eternal Destiny" is stated and the module is implemented by developing language ActionScript 3.0 based on Flexprogramming model.3. Designing idea of turn-based Fight module in the non-client online game is analyzed. As for the common problem of low excitement, the solution of shortening safe decision time is put forward. Design of Fight module of "Eternal Destiny" is stated and the module is implemented by developing language ActionScript 3.0 based on Flex programming model.The Guide module and Fight module have been deployed in the game "Eternal Destiny" Meanwhile, the English language version has been released in Northern America and makes a good profit. The design scheme and the implementation methods proposed in the thesis can be used for references for developing similar non-client games.
