Optimisation Design Of Xingtai Tietong Local Telecommunications Network

Along with the ever increasing development of communications technology, today's world has entered information age in which people have higher and higher expectations on quality and variety of the services provided by the operators. Meanwhile, local operators are making more and more efforts to develop and optimize local transmission networks in order to meet customers'needs and wants. It envisaged that local transmission networks will grow into becoming digital, intelligentized as well as being able to provide personalised service.China Tietong Group has launched a strategic transformation from performing as a traditional voice service provider to broadband communications and multimedia service provider. In order to achieve this, the existing telecommunications network will have to be restructured. This dissertation starts from an analysis on the current situation of the network run by Xingtai Tietong, followed by explanations of issues identified in the current network structure, and lacks of support to data internet operation. Further analysis has been made in what will be required in terms of equipment and capacity for the future development of Tietong. It is therefore suggest that the network inning relay transmission of fixed telephone and the transmission capacity for data and 3G will need to be satisfied. Even more capacity will need to be created for network element rent and any other new types of business in three years'time, based on which the optimization plan will be made.Current situation and future needs analysis will lead to formation of future tactics and goals. That is: the focus will be to enhance the level of security for local network and to better support data internet operation. At the same time, key technical problems will be tackled with constructive feedback being provided. However it is worth mentioning that given it is a developmental process to optimize the whole network, it is inevitably a time consuming project. Part of this has been inaugurated, with more details that can only been introduced when other parts are undergoing the same process.
