Along with development and growing popularity of the web technology, the internet has become one of the most important ways to obtain information, which scale with amazing speed is increased. But the current search engines in principle, retrieval operation mechanism and system of the organization has its inherent characteristic, made it to a certain extent reduce the search for information, but there are still some defects and deficiencies. Therefore, the improvement of the traditional search patterns, web information retrieval system can be more quickly and accurately identify the necessary information and communication network, those become the hotspot.The emergence of mobile agent technology and across the origin of language, web services for the information network transmission of information and retrieval demonstrated the new method. With the development of internet, how to achieve useful information becomes very difficult. Migration strategy is one of the most critical problems in the sys- tem based on Mobile Agent, the efficiency of mobile Agent depends on the optimal migration strategy, it can improve efficiency and retrieve purpose.This thesis proposes a new Migration Strategy that use of mobile agent improve genetic algorithm. And use Muti-agent to complete the task.On the base of the mobile agent research, designed to develop a information retrieval system based on the mobile agent. Better solved a lot of data transmission in a network to network that waste of resources and enhance the search for efficiency. As agent technology development, agent-based search engine will be put into practice.
