With the development of buildings intelligentized, smart home is increasingly closed attention by the people. Intelligent home is building the efficient, convenient and comfortable work or living environment, with the security of the advanced science and technology, the purpose of the requirement for living environment, and security etc. Intelligent home is to develop in the direction of the energy-conserving and environment-protective, in addition to Automation, Computer Network, and Communication etc.In this paper, it is built a home control system in the laboratory to control the environment and the electromechanical devices, which is supported by the intelligent buildings laboratory of North China University of Technology. Firstly, the intelligent building control system is divided into four subsystems according to the functional requirements:environmental monitoring subsystem, it adjusts the temperature, humidity, light and other factors to the suitable range; security monitoring subsystem, it monitors the fire, gas leaks and other security; remote meter reading subsystem, it collects the meter's data and displays; power control subsystem, it supplies of electricity for the electromechanical devices. Secondly, with the control objects of the temperature, humidity, lighting, and safety system etc, the intelligent home control system is optical controlling. Lastly, the author designs a set of open comprehensive management system for intelligent home with how to coordinate the interactive linkage function between the internal system and the different system. In this control system, the controller of S7-300 PLC as the controller to controlling the field devices, the graphical software WinCC based on the as the upper platform management software, they are efficient operating. The author designs different control schemes and scene models in order to meet different client' demands for different scenes, and realizes the remote meter data acquisition with the technology of OPC, and exploits the remote monitoring with the technology of WinCC Web Navigator, so as to realize the comprehensive management of intelligent home control system.Through the integrated debugging and running in the control system, it basically meets the designed requirements. For the living environment and security in the different environment, this designed control system can meet it, and adapt to the complex environmental change, in order to achieve the desired design goals.
