| Three-dimensional network teaching is to show the three-dimensional learning environment and teaching process on the internet. The whole display process include the establishment of the three-dimensional virtual classroom, the real-time explanation by the virtual teachers, the lecturing and questioning of the virtual students on-site, and etc. With the rapid development of Internet bandwidth, the virtual reality environment on the internet has become one of the directions of computer technology.This paper is based on the "virtual campus of the North China University of Technology", to describe the carrying out of the teaching activities in the virtual classroom. This paper studies the internet-based virtual reality technology and solves issues, such as the virtual scene roaming, information synchronization between virtual characters at the same scene, playing PPT and video files in the three-dimensional scene, and realizes the interactive tools in real teaching manners by virtual interactive way on internet. The entire endeavor provides a more vivid and lively means for universal education and the implementation of continuing education, would gain better social benefits.This paper describes research on the following aspects:First, analyzes the current situation of popular virtual classroom, notice that the classic web-based virtual classroom is lack of vitality, and virtual classroom based on video conference system requires much higher costs of hardware to student user terminal. Using the internet-based three-dimensional virtual classroom, users need only one internet terminal to get involved into the class, and would have good sense of participation.Second, analyzes the core technology of the 3D virtual teaching platform, details the technology used to build scene models and character models, describes the function and structure of the application server and the synchronization server. Determines the basic components of the virtual classroom, including the courseware player, video remote control, the blackboard simulation, character interaction, and classroom circumstances, and plans and designs the various components of the scene; designs the courseware synchronization, video synchronization, dialogue control, character behavior synchronization logic; Particularly for the video synchronization logic, using of real-time transmission control parameters eases the pressure on the network synchronized broadcast.Third, discusses the technology implementations of PPT playing technology and video playback technology in the virtual teaching activities. Combining with the popular AJAX, JSP, Servlet technologies, integrates to achieve the above design logic. And introduces the scene and user interface in the virtual classroom.The last, summarizes the work completed, and point out the further research direction. |
