Research And Application Of OpenSSO In Digital Campus

With the developing of school information construction, more and more applications were developed. While these systems play their functions there are also some problems with them: Information isolation, repeated login, too many passwords must be remembered by users and so on. These problems cause inconvenience to the teachers and students. With the analysis of our school information construction and the analysis of open soured single sign-on system. We integrated our campus B/S structure systems using single sign-on system CAS (Central Authentication Service), which was developed by Yale University. With single sign-on integration, users can access all systems which were integrated by single sign-on, and not have to repeat login. The main tasks are as follows:1. We have analyzed domestic and foreign single sign-on systems. And choice the user group active, well-designed open source single sign-on system CAS for secondary development. And integrate the campus B/S architecture systems using CAS.2. Analyzed single sign-on related technologies that benefit the reader to understand a single sign-on system. We have analyzed CAS system on aspect of login process, the key implementation classes, and the client interception process.3. According the actual situation of schools to establish a unified personnel repository using LDAP. And LDAP directory tree structures have been analyzed. Build a single sign-on server. A single sign-on management system has been developed. Portal system has been integrated to provide a unified entrance to other systems for users.4. Open source system CAS has been improved. The case sensitive issue which was coursed by user habits has been solved. Switch users failed issue within a session was solved. Added support for LDAP freeze users. User passwords initialization problem were solved by using CAS and non-invasive system for plaintext password system.
