With high-tech products gradually coming into the modern families, people's living standards continue to be improved, but also bring much insecurity correspondingly.It is often seen that gas explosion, combustion of home appliances and high-tech theft are happened in our lives. Therefore, it is imperative to study smart home security system which is an mportant part of smart home system.The security products of our nation can't open the huge market of smart home security system because of high rate of false alarm, discommodiousness of security system disarming, none of installation of the access control systems in general home, and so on. With emergence of Internet of things and rapid development of wireless sensor network, home security systems will be changed radically and revolutionarily. The networking of smart home system has many characteristics such as safe, convenient, comfortable, environmental protection and smart, especially the wireless sensor network will be the best choice for building the home network because of the advantages of low power, self-organization, high reliability and low cost. Consequently, this paper introduced the wireless sensor networks to design one smart home security system.As a result of the characteristics of low power, low cost, low data rate, short transmission time, reliable data transmission and self-organization with the established network based on Zigbee technology, this paper builded one home network on Zigbee platform and actualized remote monitoring through Internet and GSM network technology.This paper chose the single cluster tree network as the home network topology due to the short communication distance, small amount of data and small coverage of network as well as saving money and reducing power consumption in smart home security system.Based on the home network,this paper actualize the basic functions of smart home security system which contains smart access control system,smart door and window burglarproof system, gas leakage detection, people positioning, remote video monitoring, remote monitoring of client and mobile phone and database system development.The CC2430 SOC has a high sensitivity receiver and anti-jamming capability and has excellent performances on low power, low cost, high efficiency, miniaturization and other aspects, so this paper chose the CC2430 SOC as the core hardware of Zigbee network, then design sensor nodes.This paper type-selection designed the related hardware modules to actualize the basic functions of smart home security system including the human pyroelectric sensor module, infrared curtain sensor module, fire detection module, gas monitoring module, music alarm module and GSM Modem Module. The hardware type-selection design met the requirements of real-time, reliability, low power, low cost and miniaturization. After accomplishment of hardware development, this paper designed the nodes software of Zigbee wireless sensor network based on IAR Embedded Workbench 7.30B platform including programs design of network building and joining, data collection, data transmission and reliable response mechanism. Based on the Visual Basic 6.0 development platform this paper designed the server and client software. Virtual graphical user interface was realized, the alarm and remote control can be finished on graphical interface which is more intuitionistic and convenient.The basic functions of smart home security system were verified through laboratory test and achieved its intended goal.Finally, this paper introduced physical productions and applications of the real system and analyzed performances of system such as communication performance, node communication delay and node power consumption, then concluded that the system had the advantages of reliable communication, well real-time, low power consumption,low cost and has broad market prospects.
