Along with the development of power information, the standardized operations which have complex flow are managed by MIS (Management Information System).Now the most develop of electric power MIS is based on C/S framework and Web Application. The C/S framework is difficult to deploy. As users become increasingly, the upgrade and maintenance are more and more complex. The Web Application is easy to deploy and maintain, but it is mutual difficultly, and could not give the user a perfect mutual experience. Here we apply the AJAX to the electric power MIS, get a balance between C/S framework and Web Application.In this paper, the main content is that research and application of AJAX on the electric power MIS. A key point of research in this paper is that application of AJAX on the power management process standardization.Through analyzing various flows of the country electric power standardized management system, establishing a flow of temporary power blackout by using VCL for Web platform, because of components'advantages of reusable, easy to maintain and support a seamless upgrade, taking the flow as example, the double-combo component and input prompts component based AJAX are designed. The capability of AJAX is also discussed in this thesis through an actual experiment. The conclusion of the experiment shows that compared with traditional web technology, AJAX has a better performance in average sending data, average received data and average time cost.Another key point of research in this paper is design and implementation the personal office module based AJAX. The ultimate goal is to improve the power management process standardization which lacks alerts information. The basic principle of its implementation is that generate alerts information of the user handled, and show them to users by using the AJAX technology and the most popular RSS technology and basing on ASP.NET AJAX platform. In that way, users can access to the work state quickly, and reduce the burden on the user memory.
