Research And Implementation Of Periodic Task System In Core Network Solution For Operation And Maintenance

In the fully competive telecommunications market,the mode of network operation and maintenance needs to be changed from network and device-oriented to customer and service-oriented. Based on the in-depth analysis of defects of the existing solutions about network operation and maintenance and feedbacks from the existing network experiment offices,this paper proposes the research and implementation of the periodic task system.The periodic task system can report statistical datas which reflect the status of network to the operators and maintainers by e-mail automatically.This system breaks the limitations of the traditional network operation and maintenance system,enhances the user experience,and improves the service quality remarkably.Based on the requirements and the features of the communication network operation and maintenance system in stability and efficiency,this paper designs and implements a periodic task system.This paper contains following parts:(1) The related technologies for implementing the system are discussed.(2) Several analysis reports are designed,which conduct corresponding statistics and analysis of the Call History Record(CHR) in the database,then receive reports which reflect the status of network by various viewpoints.(3) The sending of e-mail with an attachment is implemented.(4) An effective disk removement strategy is designed and implemented.(5) A reasonable database connection management mechanism and a common database access interface are designed and implemented.The practical experiment shows that this periodic task system can be well applied to the field of network operation and maintenance,and has a higher operating efficiency.
