Design And Implementation Of The Software Decoding System For Integrating Compression System On Image And Video

People have carried out extensive research on image compression and video compression, and have been with the latest international compression standard JPEG2000 and H.264. At the same time, selecting the appropriate compression algorithm depending on the application environment becomes more important. In different environments, the movement of the image is different, and the movement of the image vary with time even in the same application environment, so it is difficult to get the best efficiency with just one compression method. This thesis introduces the integration of image and video compression algorithm based on the existing algorithm, and explains the software decoding system in depth.First of all, this thesis outlines the current development of still image and video compression algorithm, and then introduces the integration, the key algorithm and the hardware encoding and software decoding structure of the new system, and on this basis, designed and implemented the software decoding system based on wxWidgets. This decoding system supports multiple heterogeneous input sources, now including from the file, the network, and the PCI capture card. The FIFO mechanism used in the decoding system bonded the acquisition module, the distribution module, the decoding module and the displaying module together organically so that each module can achieve the high cohesion and the low coupling, providing a great convenience for the future system maintenance and expansion. This decoding system supports mixed stream input composed of image and video, can adjust the decoding and displaying process according to the stream content dynamically, providing an decoding and real-time displaying program for the Integrating Compression System on Image and Video.
