As the development of the Electromagnetic compatility(EMC) automatic test techonloy, to some extent, greatly enhanced test efficency and precision, it become an inevitable choice of EMC test. But to implement automatic test, it must resolve programable instrument,and implement automatic collection of test data.Therefore, it is a chief problem of the automatic test systems (ATS) to realize programmable instrument.Firstly, this thesis analyzes significance of interchangeable instrument in the electromagnetic compatility automatic test systems, aiming at generality of programmable module is bad, an interchangeable method of GPIB, LXI and USB bus controlling instrument is put forward, it implements interchangeable technology of programmable instrument. Secondly, according to the problem of instrument synchronization arising in the electromagnetic compatility test, synchronous methods of electromagnetic compatility test systems are put forward, it resolves problem of synchronization and cooperation for material test systems. Finally, a model of data pretreatment based on need of data processing is established for testing data of electromagnetic compatility outfield, it puts forward a method of test saturation control and data calibration, a data pretreatment module based on wavelet transformation reduce the noise of signal, curve envelope and curve stretch is programmed, The module makes pretreatment of test data come out.This module developed has been applied in projects and achieved good results.
